Irving FIRST United Methodist Church is an existing facility that has been in Irving since the turn of the
century. Their existing historic sanctuary,
was not filling the needs of the congregation. A 450 seat
sanctuary, new Sunday school rooms and close-in parking was needed. The project is approximately
14,500 sf of new construction, as well as the renovation necessary to connect to the existing building.
A strong design consideration was to work with the
historical character of the area and help create
a landmark structure that will further define the downtown area of Irving.
